Resumo: | In the current pedagogical perspective, children are placed as protagonists of their own stories, as they need to have a physical space for them to happen: cities. It is in this scenario that we observe the growth of urban planning that attracts children, together with urban education, as a way of training these small citizens from an early age to build diverse, fair and democratic cities. Both topics have been discussed by various initiatives, such as CAU-Educa, Urban95, ENANPUR 2023 and city halls across the country, as a way of promoting continued education that affirms citizenship from an early age, so that, Even though they are small, we can understand the importance of appropriating urban space and debating improvements for the city. In order to bring urban planning closer to children, there is a need to reflect on an alternative way to think about teaching this topic. It is in this context that this work is inserted, as its general objective is to develop a teaching resource as a means of communicating urban planning aimed at children. Specifically, we seek to: discuss the application of gamification as a methodological tool for urban planning; analyze dialogue and teaching methodologies for children, relating them to urban planning; and develop a game that addresses participatory methodology in urban planning based on active listening to children. |
