However, the main challenge to include students in an institution starts, initially, from the cultural transformation, from the conceptions of managers, professors and students. In this sense, it is essential to understand how inclusive education for atypical people occurs. The general objective of this work was to identify the main difficulties faced by the teachers of the three schools in the municipality of São Fernando/RN, in order to carry out the inclusive process in the classroom. The research was carried out through questionnaires with the teachers of the three public schools in the municipality. After data collection, the results were analyzed and discussed. It was concluded that, as much as teachers strive to contribute to the inclusive process, it is noticeable that there is no interest in investing in specialization or continuing education in the area of inclusive education, as well as this is not one of the concerns of these schools, because, with the number of students with disabilities in the school, no type of training has yet been promoted for their teachers. A política educacional brasileira estabelece que a educação inclusiva é a mais adequada estrutura de educação para acolher a diversidade e superar as desigualdades sociais. Contudo, o principal desafio para incluir estudantes em uma instituição parte, inicialmente, da transformação cultural, das concepções dos gestores, docentes e discentes. Nesse sentido, é primordial compreender como ocorre a educação inclusiva para pessoas atípicas. O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi identificar as principais dificuldades enfrentadas pelos professores das três escolas do município de São Fernando/RN, para realização do processo inclusivo em sala de aula. A pesquisa, numa abordagem qualitativa, realizou-se através da aplicação de questionário com os professores das três escolas públicas do município. Após a coleta de dados foi feita a análise e discussão dos resultados. Concluiu-se que por mais que os professores se empenhem em contribuir para o processo inclusivo, é percebível que não há interesse em investir em uma especialização ou educação continuada na área de educação inclusiva, como também, essa não é uma das preocupações dessas escolas, pois, com o número de alunos com deficiência na escola, ainda não foi promovido nenhum tipo de capacitação para seus professores. 2023-07-18T23:48:58Z 2023-07-18T23:48:58Z 2023-07 bachelorThesis SILVA, Niedja Tainara Lopes.
