description This research, focused on teacher training continued, aimed at collaborating with military police education through the development of a training course for instructors of the Military Police of Rio Grande do Norte (PM/RN), based on the National Curriculum Matrix, supported by the contribution of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) using Contextualized Instructional Design (CID). To this purpose, as a sample, it mapped the social, demographic, and professional profile of the instructors of the PM/RN Training and Improvement Courses, which, after identifying and categorizing the training needs on PBL, became the parameters for the modeling of the proposed course. This academic work used as a research methodology the Contextualized Instructional Design (DIC) associated with the exploratory, descriptive and applied study for the construction of the Training Course for Military Police Instructors, following the ADDIE model. During the development phase, a rehearsal of one of the curricular components of the proposed course was performed in the classroom with a group of instructors, and it has proven to be effective in strengthening the collaborative work for analysis, discussion, and resolution of problem situations, with strong engagement of the military policemen to achieve the proposed learning object. The discussion of reality in the teaching of military police officers can generate attitudes of confrontation in the face of social injustices by these public security agents, by developing cognitive models capable of making them reflect on the consequences for before, during, and after their actions. The product of this work is a plan for a Military Police Instructor Training Course, which can be validated in its entirety in the context of the PM/RN, and can be applied to other realities. The more critical Military Policeman, responsible for his professional and personal development, can and should act decisively in changing the reality to which he belongs, and contribute to the development of his institution, as the protagonist of its constitutional mission to preserve public order and protect the lives of people and their property. The strengthening of these endeavors goes through the valorization and good training of the instructors who will train these military policemen.

Esta pesquisa busca colaborar com o ensino da policial militar por meio do desenvolvimento de um curso de formação continuada para Instrutores da Polícia Militar do Rio Grande do Norte (PMRN), com base na Matriz Curricular Nacional, segundo o aporte da Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas (ABP) utilizando o Design Instrucional Contextualizado (DIC). Para tanto, a título de amostragem, mapeou-se o perfil social, demográfico e profissional dos instrutores dos Cursos de Formação e Aperfeiçoamento da PMRN, que após identificadas e categorizadas as necessidades formativas sobre a ABP, tornaram-se parâmetros da modelagem do curso proposto. Este trabalho acadêmico, utilizou como metodologia de pesquisa o Design Instrucional Contextualizado (DIC) associado ao estudo exploratório, descritivo e aplicado à construção do Curso de Formação de Instrutores Policiais Militares, seguindo o modelo ADDIE. Na fase do desenvolvimento, foi realizado um ensaio em sala de aula de um dos componentes curriculares do curso proposto com um grupo de instrutores e este demonstrou-se efetivo no fortalecimento do trabalho colaborativo para análise, discussão e resolução de situações-problemas, com forte engajamento dos policiais militares para alcançar o objeto de aprendizagem proposto. A discussão da realidade no ensino de policiais militares pode gerar atitudes de enfrentamento às injustiças sociais por parte destes agentes de segurança pública, pelo desenvolvimento de modelos cognitivos capazes de fazê-los refletir nas consequências para antes, durante e após de suas ações. O produto deste trabalho é um plano de Curso de Formação de Instrutores Policiais Militares, que pode ser validado em sua totalidade no contexto da PMRN, podendo ser aplicado em outras realidades. O Policial Militar mais crítico, responsável pelo seu desenvolvimento profissional e pessoal, pode e deve atuar decisivamente na mudança da realidade a que pertence, também contribuir para o desenvolvimento da sua instituição, como protagonista da sua missão constitucional de preservar a ordem pública e proteger a vida das pessoas e seus patrimônios.
