Resumo: | This research had as main objective to investigate the level of organizational commitment of the employees of the Infrastructure and Urban Services Department of the Municipality of Campo Redondo - RN, based on the seven dimensions of the EBACO scale: Obligation to Stay, Affective, Afiliative, Performance Obligation, Consistent Line of Activity, Lack of Rewards, and Opportunities. Regarding the ends, it is classified as descriptive and as to the means it is classified as field and bibliographic research. Data was collected by means of a quantitative method that reflected the level of commitment of the municipal public functionaries of the aforementioned secretariat. 18 questionnaires were applied to a total of 21 employees, totaling a sample of 85.71% of the universe. Given the results obtained from the research, we can conclude that on the basis of Affective, Obligation to remain, Obligation for performance and Scarcity of alternatives have reached levels of commitment satisfactory to the organization, regarding the bases Afiliativa, Lack of rewards and opportunities, and Consistent line of activity, have been shown to have negative aspects. Therefore, there is a need for intercession on the part of the managers to elaborate actions that can maintain or improve the results obtained in the bases that have reached favorable commitment and to change the picture found in the bases that have obtained negative results. |
