Resumo:This article discusses the reading of the world in the Geography of the Early Years - Elementary Education, using the playful dimension as a didactic tool to make the subject more attractive to the student, since it is an important curricular component for the student to understand the world , life and daily life, where it is up to teachers to develop attractive and thought-provoking practices that provide opportunities for spatial thinking linked to geographic reasoning, playing the role of teaching a more meaningful Geography. With this, this study thought as a proposal, to use the playful dimension through the application of a pedagogical experience, the didactic sequence “Caça ao Tesouro” as a tool, resulting in a more instigating relationship between the student and the improvement of his understanding of reading the world through specific Geography content. The elaboration of the research took place with the survey of secondary data that are related to the theme. Subsequently, contact with primary sources, carried out remotely, due to the current context of the pandemic, where it was possible to conclude that playfulness is a methodological form that helps in the teaching practice of teaching content for the construction of geographical knowledge.
