Resumo:The objective of this document is to analyze the ideas of the fifth-grade teachers on the basic education about teenage years and its participation during pedagogic practising. The research can be classified as qualitative and exploratory, trying to have a good understanding getting near to the point examined. A survey was used as a research tool with four pedagogues, who work on the basic education, gathering all the information of the teacher´s ideas about their students between childhood and teenage years and the components for the teaching and learning methods. As bibliographical references there are several authors as follow; Cotinho (2009), Frota (2007), Gutierra (2005), Costa, Lima and Pinheiro (2010). The final result shows the teenage years as a transfer period of time between childhood and adult life with physics and psychics changes. The research concludes that believes and teaching performances carry out consequences to the pedagogic methods of the fifth-year teachers at the basic education.
