Resumo:This monograph refers to a research that aimed to analyze the implications of a pedagogy that had as a presupposition the body in motion as well as a perception of the body as a place of learning in children who are in Early Childhood Education. The methodology used to construct the research was qualitative descriptive, since it described the observations and their specificities of the interventions and the development found in the children, as well as registered the evaluation and interpretations of the results, which specified the meaningful construction of the learning Children, not dissociating body and mind. This work was carried out through bibliographical research and the analysis of interventions promoted by the Stop Motion Project for the perception of creation of movement - assigning to the movement different conceptions of learning, carried out in a Municipal Center for Early Childhood Education in Natal, Rio de Janeiro Great North, with children from 2 to about 3 years of age, level I of the sport. The research consolidated the idea of the body as a place of learning, affirming, from the results obtained on the basis of children's development, the notion of body-object and denominating it as a set of physical, social, affective and historical dimensions, as A fundamental place in the construction of knowledge and in the constitution of the small child as subject.
