Returning to the re-signification of values in the teaching-learning process, the work occurs in the 1st grade class of Elementary School I, whose research comes from the work done at the Escola Municipal Professor Vera Lucia Soares Barros, located in the city of Natal, more precisely in the neighborhood of Pajuçara. The school has two directors (pedagogical and administrative), 35 teachers, serves 600 students divided between the morning and afternoon shifts, besides directing some projects of reading, writing and literacy. Considering that the child is a historical subject and is inserted in a society, from an early age it is important to live with values that make it reflexive and make it a social transforming agent. Dealing with values is relevant in view of the quality of life of the child, in the family, in the school and in society. O objetivo deste projeto é promover uma sequência didática por meio do uso de fábulas enquanto uma estratégia para o desenvolvimento de valores na educação infantil. Voltando-se para a ressignificação de valores no processo de ensino aprendizagem, o trabalho ocorre na turma do 1º ano do Ensino Fundamental I, cuja pesquisa é oriunda da atuação junto à Escola Municipal Professora Vera Lucia Soares Barros, localizada na cidade de Natal, mais precisamente na Avenida Mar Mediterrâneo, 1236, conjunto Parque das dunas, no bairro de Pajuçara. Sendo mantida pela do Curso de Pedagogia à Distância da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte e vinculada à Secretaria Municipal de Educação, a escola tem dois diretores (pedagógico e administrativo), 35 professores, atende 600 alunos divididos entre os turnos matutino e vespertino, além de encaminhar alguns projetos de leitura, escrita e alfabetização. Considerando que a criança é um sujeito histórico e está inserida numa sociedade, desde a mais tenra idade é importante conviver com valores que a tornam reflexiva e a tornam um agente transformador social.
