Percursos urbanos: a educação patrimonial a partir do caminhar no centro da cidade de Fortaleza-CE
description The research analyzes the importance of the practice heritage education based on walking. The study discusses how walking in historical areas of Fortaleza´s centre provides the recognition of roughness of the historical tissue. The research followed some courses organized by professors and professionals linked to History, Tourism, Architecture and Urbanism. The hypothesis of the present study is that, despite the physical conditions and the neglect of the patrimonial property of Fortaleza, it is possible to practice patrimonial education activities that contribute to the legibility of the cultural heritage. The theoretical-methodological framework is the theme of linking urban form and city apprehension discussed by authors such as Gordon Cullen (2006), José Lamas (2011), Kevin Lynch (2006) and Camillo Sitte (1992). Another aspect discussed in the thesis is walking as an instrument for the recognition of the city, authors such as Paola Jacques (2012a) and Francesco Careri (2013b) clarify these issues. The discussions about cultural tourism and the proposition of meaningful itineraries for the participants were based on the writings of Flávia Costa (2014), Hermínia Vargas and Ricardo Paiva (2016). The study is based on bibliographic, documentary and field research to understand the heritage perception of the central area of the city. As for the results, it was observed that the followed tours were essentially informative character, corroborating little to the creation of narratives with the place. Thus, the research aims to propose a route methodology (course and procedures), so that it is possible to establish a narrative character, which weaves links between participants with the city's history, providing a panorama of apprehension of the “resistant” historical fabric in the central area.

O trabalho analisa a importância da prática da educação patrimonial a partir do caminhar. No estudo discute-se como o andar a pé em áreas históricas do Centro de Fortaleza proporciona o reconhecimento de rugosidades do tecido histórico. A pesquisa acompanhou alguns percursos organizados por professores e profissionais vinculados à História, Turismo, Arquitetura e Urbanismo. A hipótese do presente estudo é que, apesar das condições físicas e do descaso com os bens patrimoniais fortalezenses, é possível exercer atividades de educação patrimonial que contribuem para a legibilidade do patrimônio cultural. Tem-se como referencial teórico-metodológico a temática da vinculação forma urbana e apreensão da cidade discutida por autores como Gordon Cullen (2006), José Lamas (2011), Kevin Lynch (2006) e Camillo Sitte (1992). Outro aspecto discutido na tese é o caminhar como instrumento para o reconhecimento da cidade - autores como Paola Jacques (2012a) e Francesco Careri (2013b) elucidam essas questões. As discussões quanto ao turismo cultural e a proposição de roteiros significativos para os participantes foram fundamentadas nos escritos de Flávia Costa (2014), Hermínia Vargas e Ricardo Paiva (2016). O estudo está embasado em pesquisas bibliográficas, documental e de campo para o entendimento da percepção patrimonial da área central da cidade. Quanto aos resultados, observou-se que os roteiros acompanhados tinham um caráter essencialmente informativo, corroborando pouco para a criação de narrativas com o lugar.
