Children are powerful beings and it is essential that the school pays attention to them to ensure their integral development. Based on this principle, it is possible to perceive that children are avid explorers and like to observe and interact with everything around them, so this work seeks to recognize and highlight the importance of environments and natural elements in daily life and in school practices of a kindergarten school, to expand interactions, enrich pedagogical practices and offer possibilities for discovery and imagination. Aiming to identify the environments and natural elements present in an early childhood education institution and, consequently, discuss their educational possibilities. Considerando que a educação infantil é um campo recente de discussões em nosso país e que a primeira infância ocupa um espaço fundamental no desenvolvimento de uma criança, esse trabalho busca valorizar práticas pedagógicas relacionadas ao contato dos pequenos com ambientes e elementos naturais. As crianças são seres potentes e é fundamental que a escola esteja atenta a elas para garantir seu desenvolvimento integral. Partindo desse princípio, é possível perceber que as crianças são ávidas exploradoras e gostam de observar e interagir com tudo que está ao seu redor, por isso, esse trabalho busca reconhecer e destacar a importância dos ambientes e elementos naturais no cotidiano e nas práticas escolares de uma escola de educação infantil, para ampliar as interações, enriquecer as práticas pedagógicas e oferecer possibilidades de descobertas e imaginação. Tendo como objetivo identificar os ambientes e elementos naturais presentes em uma instituição de educação infantil e, por consequência, discutir suas possibilidades educativas.
