description The inclusion of deaf students in regular schools is a growing reality and among the various problems experienced in the classroom context, there are difficulties regarding the teaching of biology. It is noteworthy the importance of academic research that stimulates the production of knowledge about the contents of science for deaf students. In this sense, we aimed to perform an integrative literature review that relates the teaching materials produced to facilitate the teaching-learning process of Biology for the deaf community. The present study is an integrative review of scientific papers available in a library of theses and dissertations. The database used in this study was the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). The descriptors used were: "LIBRAS and Biology", "Deaf and Biology" and "Deaf Inclusive Education and Biology". In this review, two (n=2) theses and four (n=4) dissertations were included. From the analysis of the studies, two categories emerged to support the discussion of the topic in question. Five studies showed the production of didactic materials as facilitators of Biology teaching for the deaf. It was possible to conclude that there are few works with the theme, which reinforces the need for research, which relates the teaching of science and biology for non-listening students.

La inclusión de los alumnos sordos en las escuelas ordinarias es una realidad creciente y entre los diversos problemas que se experimentan en el contexto del aula, destacan las dificultades relativas a la enseñanza de la biología. Destaca la importancia de la investigación académica que estimula la producción de conocimiento sobre los contenidos de la ciencia para los estudiantes sordos. En este sentido, nos propusimos realizar una revisión integradora de la literatura que relaciona los materiales didácticos elaborados para facilitar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Biología para la comunidad sorda. El presente estudio es una revisión integradora de los trabajos científicos disponibles en la biblioteca de tesis y disertaciones. La base de datos utilizada en este estudio fue la Biblioteca Digital de Tesis y Disertaciones (BDTD). Los descriptores utilizados fueron: "LIBRAS y Biología", "Sordos y Biología" y "Educación Inclusiva de Sordos y Biología". En esta revisión se incluyeron dos (n=2) tesis y cuatro (n=4) disertaciones. Del análisis de los estudios surgieron dos categorías que apoyan la discusión del tema en cuestión. Cinco estudios evidenciaron la producción de materiales didácticos como facilitadores de la enseñanza de la Biología para sordos. Se pudo concluir que hay pocos trabajos con el tema, lo que refuerza la necesidad de investigaciones, que relacionen la enseñanza de las Ciencias y la Biología para alumnos no oyentes. A inclusão de educandos surdos em escolas regulares é uma realidade crescente e dentre as diversas problemáticas vivenciadas no contexto de sala de aula, destaca-se as dificuldades em relação ao ensino de Biologia. Ressalta-se, a importância de pesquisas acadêmicas que estimulem a produção de conhecimento acerca dos conteúdos de Ciências, para educandos surdos. Neste sentido, objetivou-se realizar uma revisão integrativa de literatura que relaciona os materiais didáticos produzidos para facilitar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de Biologia para comunidade surda. O presente estudo trata-se de uma revisão integrativa dos trabalhos científicos disponíveis em biblioteca de teses e dissertações. A base de dados utilizada neste estudo foi a Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD). Os descritores utilizados foram: “LIBRAS e Biologia”, “Surdos e Biologia” e “Educação Inclusiva de surdos e Biologia”. Nesta revisão, foram incluídas duas (n= 2) teses e quatro (n=4) dissertações. Da análise dos estudos, emergiram duas categorias que fundamentam a discussão do tema em questão. Cinco estudos evidenciaram a produção de materiais didáticos como facilitadores do ensino de Biologia para surdos. Foi possível concluir que são poucos trabalhos com a temática, o que reforça a necessidade de pesquisas, que relacionam o ensino de Ciências e Biologia para educandos não ouvintes.
