Resumo:To what extent can the teaching practices developed by Célestin Freinet facilitate the teaching-learning process in an innovative way? Is there a current approach in Freinet Pedagogy and its teaching forms? Seeking to reflect on these issues, this article deals with three practical practices, fundamental, so that it is possible to understand Freinet Pedagogy and its essence: free text, collaborative work and the school newspaper. This is a qualitative research, conducted from the bibliographic method, based on books, articles and magazines on the topic addressed. Freinet brings with it an ideal of education that reflects its ideal of society, its principles and values ??while measuring and as a teacher. Thus, it removes arguments and authors that seek to prove the positive implications of Freinet's practices for teaching, and the timeliness of these methods for the construction of a meaningful and democratic teaching practice.
