Resumo: | The discussion about including people with disabilities in Higher Education is a subject little addressed in the academic environment, especially concerning the access of those people to the referred education level. Despite the increasing number of registration of students with disabilities in Higher Education, the percentage of these students who are actually enrolled in higher education institutions is very small. Therefore, this study aims to analyze scientific production, from 2008 through 2018, that addresses the access of people with disabilities to Higher Education, in order to elucidate the progress made so far. For this purpose, we used different search engines, such as SciElo and the CAPES Journal. In addition, we analyzed nine papers that consistently addressed the proposed subject. Such analysis enabled to corroborate the scarcity of academic productions that are related to the investigated subject from 2008 through 2018, pointing to the necessity of expanding the research conducted on such field so far, especially those related to the access to Higher Education through quotas. |
