Resumo:This paper discusses the challenges of including children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in early childhood education and the contributions of the non-mandatory internship to the instrumentalization of teachers in training, evidenced from the experience report in the context of education in a public school daycare center in the city of Assú / RN. The authors report lived situations and challenges faced, relating them to formative aspects, weaving reflections based on the official documents and the perspectives of Mergl and Azoni (2015), Cunha (2013), Pimenta e Lima (2006) and Machado (2019), presenting the space of the daycare as the host of inclusive practices in education, highlighting the need for specialized training of teachers to guarantee the rights of the child in terms of quality inclusive education, as well as the training aspects derived from the internship.
