The phenomenon is explored with much more vigor through the lenses of journalists in gastronomic columns and little discussed in the Social Sciences. The study reveals the sociological potential of this thematic that transpasses categories of analysis as class, gender, consumption, lifestyle, hedonism and ethics. Keywords: Foodies. Food. Gastronomy. Lifestyle.
