Resumo:The present study is based on a literature review and review. It aims to understand to what extent the non-compulsion of the discipline of Philosophy within State policies, can represent the denial of content of profound relevance the formation for citizenship and consequently emancipation of young people and school children. In this sense, he related the concepts of the political reflection of some thinkers in order to provide elements and categories of analysis to the researchers in the educational field, more specifically, linked to Philosophy in the school and its "importance" in the current State policy. From the analysis, our results show us that such a reform has been shown as a deliberate ideological policy of one class to social control over another.
