It ranges from writing to artistic composition, memories in narratives, both of the author's maternal ancestry and her experience in Capoeira Angola. Based on reflections on the original artistic and scientific manifestations, the relationship between body and word, the concept in performing arts called “Griot Body” is proposed. The body that originates its trajectory primarily in the community(ies) of oral tradition and consequently in the performing arts, and that when creating, moving, arguing scenically, transflows into its corporeal speech, its ancestry. As a result of the investigation, we obtained both a creative process also called Corpo Griot, and an internal research methodology, Tramaturgy, a structure through which the meanings between memory, narrative, writing and creative process were woven. Este estudo corresponde a uma trajetória de pesquisa em dança, iniciada ainda no período de graduação, e que desemboca nesta dissertação de mestrado. Trama-se desde a escritura até a composição artística, memórias em narrativas, tanto da ancestralidade materna da autora, quanto de sua vivência na Capoeira Angola. A partir de reflexões acerca das manifestações artísticas e científicas originárias, da relação entre corpo e palavra, é proposto o conceito em artes cênicas chamado “Corpo Griot”. O corpo que tem a origem de seu trajeto primeiramente na(s) comunidade(s) de tradição oral e consequentemente nas artes da cena, e que ao criar, mover, argumentar cenicamente, transflue em seu discurso corpóreo, sua ancestralidade.
