Part of the experience lived throughout the Supervised Internships for Teacher Training, and in particular what was carried out in high school. It seeks to highlight how the Internship was at this stage, and whether Local History is included and the way it relates to other “histories” and whether Local History, supposedly closer to the members of the school community, would contribute significantly to the formation of citizens and the awakening of a feeling of belonging to the place in which they live. It starts from the understanding that history happens everywhere, and, therefore, it is interesting that national and universal themes relate to local ones. In this sense, strategies are sought that enable the adoption of approaches that make it possible to bring more general issues closer to the issues of the place where the individuals involved in the teaching-learning process live. O presente artigo busca refletir sobre o ensino de História local, atentando-se para o que determinam os documentos oficiais acerca do ensino de História no seu todo e como a História Local insere-se no contexto escolar. Parte da experiência vivida ao longo dos Estágios Supervisionados Para Formação de Professores, e em especial o que foi realizado no Ensino Médio. Busca evidenciar como foi o Estágio nessa fase, e se a História Local é contemplada e a forma como ela se relaciona com as demais “histórias" e se a História local, supostamente mais próxima dos integrantes da comunidade escolar, contribuiria de forma significativa para a formação dos cidadãos e o despertar do sentimento de pertencimento ao lugar no qual convivem. Parte-se do entendimento de que a história acontece em todo lugar, e, assim sendo, é interessante que as temáticas nacionais e universais se relacionem com as locais.
