Resumo:The report presents the experience lived as a social educator in the context of the Social Protection Service for Adolescents in Compliance with a Socio-Educational Measure in an Open Environment in the City of Natal/RN in which it addresses the work of the pedagogue in the role of social educator in the scope of social assistance, seeking to specifically unravel which practices are developed by this professional together with the multidisciplinary team, with emphasis on duties and competencies within the scope of the socio-educational service process throughout the municipalization of socio-educational measures in an open environment of Provision of Services to the Community and Assisted Freedom. Furthermore, the objective is to promote understanding of the importance of the pedagogue, as a preponderant role in the process of social reintegration of the adolescent perpetrator of an infraction, considering that the aforementioned field is still little known as being the activity of pedagogues, given that the aforementioned professional is still seen as belonging to the school context. It is important to emphasize that the pedagogue's work with the multidisciplinary team is fundamental for a comprehensive approach and monitoring of the socio-education student and their family and that efficient strategies can be constructed for the construction of the Individual Care Plan, as well as for the achievement of the goals that the socio-educator intends to achieve during the course of the measure and beyond.
