One of the focuses of the research is the figure of the Artist-Teacher who in this work is understood as a maker of the art that teaches, creating an approximation with the concepts Professor-Artist (STRAZZACAPPA, 2006), Professor-Performer (ICLE, 2013) and Director-Pedagogue (HADERCHPEK, 2009). Therefore, the ArtistTeacher, takes on a mediating function between the student and the theatrical practice, conducting it through Lessons-Encounter. This concept is explored throughout the process and is based on the idea of the Art of Encounter of Grotowski (2011), which contributes directly to the methodological thinking of the work that seeks to expand the understanding of lessons through an invitation from the teacher to the student. The work as a whole is proposed within an essayist writing about Education, Theater and Experience. A presente pesquisa a baseia-se em pensamentos do Teatro e da Educação e busca contribuir para os processos de estudos das grandes áreas, bem como apontar novas possibilidades para o ensino de Teatro na Educação Básica. Um dos focos da pesquisa é a figura do Artista-Professor que nesse trabalho é entendido como um fazedor da própria arte que ensina, aproximando-se assim dos conceitos de Professor-Artista (STRAZZACAPPA, 2006), ProfessorPerformer (ICLE, 2013) e ainda Diretor-Pedagogo (HADERCHPEK, 2009). Logo, o Artista-Professor, passa a ocupar uma função mediadora entre o aluno e a prática teatral, conduzindo-o através de Aulas-Encontro. Tal conceito é esmiuçado ao longo do processo e se pauta na ideia da Arte do Encontro de Grotowski (2011), o que contribui, diretamente, para o pensamento metodológico do trabalho, que busca expandir a compreensão de aula através de um convite do professor para o aluno.
