This dissertation thoroughly examines each of the essential elements for its understanding, as well as the need to expand its boundaries to account for phenomena still unexplained, particularly the enigma of dark matter, the nature of which is unknown. Seu êxito deve-se a inúmeras previsões teóricas que posteriormente foram corroboradas experimentalmente.
