Resumo:The study in the area of people management has expanded in the tourism sector, with more and more organizations becoming interested in their employees, as the final delivery of the product or service is the result of a good relationship between the work environment and employee. Based on this scenario, this study presents internal marketing (endomarketing) and people management in a case study at “Hotel do Sol”, a fictitious name given to the hotel studied as a way of preserving its identity. The article aims to analyze the internal marketing practices applied in people management in an excelente hotel in Natal/RN. This relationship between company and employee and the actions and benefits that are developed to strengthen it were investigated. As for the methodology used, a qualitative approach was adopted, understanding the individual experiences of employees in this luxury accommodation environment as enriching their professional experience and also beneficial for the quality within the work environment. As a result, it was possible to understand this relationship in detail, the employees' perception of the place where they work and understand which hotel actions influence their commitment, personal development and professional growth. And realize that a welcoming work environment really makes a difference in the delivery results and interpersonal relationships.
