| Resumo: | This work aims to report the process of creating the major report "Female single
parenthood: the challenges of solo motherhood for women working in the health
sector", which aims to reveal the main challenges faced by three women healthcare
workers who experience solo motherhood. The methodology involves a descriptive
approach and had interviews as the main data collection technique, focusing on the
life stories of three women, single mothers and nursing technicians, who work at the
Obstetric Center of Hospital José Pedro Bezerra (Natal/RN ). The interviews were
conducted with sensitivity and empathy, aiming to contribute to the discussion of this
topic of great social relevance and to reflect the voices of women who are sometimes
made invisible. The theoretical construction of this report is based on authors such as
Pena (2008), Bulhões (2016), Lage (2002) and Fernandes (2022). |
