Resumo: | The aim of this study was to describe the level of intensity of the flow state of workers at a Third Sector Philanthropic Institution based in the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The methodology used was in the form of a monograph with a descriptive objective, a quantitative approach of an applied research nature, using survey-type technical procedures. The research consisted of quantitative questions using the model by Freitas, Damásio, Haddad and Koller (2019), which shows the state of flow at work in three dimensions: pleasure at work, intrinsic motivation and absorption. This result can be considered important for the institution, since its employees enter a state of flow through the pleasure of carrying out their activities, and the majority of those surveyed were female. The descriptive analysis of flow intensity by gender can then be verified. In carrying out this research, it was observed that philanthropy and the altruistic purposes inherent in the institution play a fundamental role in stimulating flow, suggesting positive implications for organizational performance and individual satisfaction. This study highlights the importance of approaches centered on well-being and intrinsic motivation, promoting a positive cycle of engagement and productivity. |
