| Resumo: | Since the arrival of the Administrative Dishonesty Law in 1992, the fight against corruption has ascended as a prioritary matter in Brazil, resulting in a number of police operations. The subject has caught even more attention in the media with the “Car Wash” Operation and, in front of a scenary of constant legislative changes on what involves the fight against corruption, influenced or in reaction to the operation, this study proposes to investigate the impact of the changes in the new Administrative Dishonesty Law on how the Federal Prosecution Service acts, discussing the outlook of the corruption fighting system in Brazil and the main concepts in regard to the matter. With the full comprehension of the corruption fighting in Brazil provided by the presentation of the historical aspects, it is discussed what are these changes on the Law 14.230/2021 and how they impact in the number of started legal actions of Administrative Dishonesty Law in the last few years, even with how recent the new Administrative Dishonesty Law is. For that purpose, the logic-deductive method is utilized through the bibliographic research method, allied with the legislation, cases about the subject and official statistics to quantify the true massive and immediate impact in numbers that the new Administrative Dishonesty Law already has. In congregation with other factors, the conclusion of the research is that the new Administrative Dishonesty Law helped to reduce drastically the efectivity of the fight against administrative dishonesty. |
