Resumo:The presente work aims to relate the challenges and opportunities in the pratica of people management that favor innovation in operational processes o fretai supermarkets, that is, it seeks to learn a little about which people management actions and practices provide a favorable enviroment for implementation of operacional innovations in retail supermarkets. In relation to methodological procedures, the research is caracterized as descriptive and qualitative-quanti. The results indicate that management innovations are necessary for organizations, bringing benefits and increasing competitive advantage over the competition. Strategies are fundamental to innovate and improve whenever possible, therefore, the study concludes that the company has constant and necessary practices for people management, bu other actions are needed that can make a difference and further improve the employee experience, their vision regarding the company and the organizational climate.
