Considering the rapid advancement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), which have significantly increased the visibility of the scientific community, the prominence acquired by research data repositories is notable, which aims to facilitate public availability and findability of data of research into contributions that contribute to Open Science. The general objective of this work is to understand the contributions of serendipity to the findability of information for research data repositories. Based on bibliographical research, with a qualitative approach, in which the individual observation technique was used, with an analysis of Brazilian research data repositories, through the elaboration of a table with the characteristics of serendipity applied in environments. Thus, it was possible to conclude that research data repositories found tools and recommendation systems that facilitate the occurrence of accidental discovery of information in the environment, since many software still do not present these tools to contribute to the occurrence of serendipity in this environment digital informational. |
