Resumo:The production and commercialization of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), has been showing exponential growth in Brazil, being the main product of national fish farming and consumer preference. Thus, the objective of this work is to present a proposal for a business plan for the cultivation of the species, from the idealization of a company, Saqui - Aquaculture Solutions, proposing the use of a semiintensive tank excavated with water reuse technology in the municipality of Jandaíra, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. All the business feasibility study was carried out, considering the market structure, demand forecast, productive sizing, environmental characteristics of the region and financial viability, through prospecting and research on the internet on official websites and local sellers and producers of the inputs necessary for the development of cultivation. Taking into account an initial investment of R$ 116,774.55 and a working capital of R$ 68,121.17 and production in an area of 1.2 hectare, it was revealed an Internal Rate of Return of 68.76% and a total Payback in up to 2 years and 1 month. Therefore, it was concluded that this business plan is viable and a promising investment, given the compensation of the costs of selling fish against the financial profitability of this agribusiness and the growing demand for this product nationally and internationally.
