His study aimed to analyze the concept of nursing leadership and its application at the Surgical Center. This is a concept analysis following the theoretical-methodological framework proposed by Walker and Avant, applied through Scoping Review. The stages of concept analysis included eight steps: (1) Criteria selection; (2) Determination of the analysis’ objectives; (3) Identification of the concept’s possible uses; (4) Determination of defining attributes; (5) Model case construction; (6) Identification of other cases: opposite case; (7) Identification of antecedents and consequences of the concept; (8) Definition of
empirical references. The search was carried out in three parts: at first, Scopus and PubMed, databases were used; secondly, through Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar; and lastly, using a parallel list of references. Nine studies were selected as the final sample. It was perceived that the continent of publication that prevailed was South America, Portuguese and English appeared with the same frequency, the years with the highest number of publications were from 2016 to 2022. As for methodological aspects, they mostly involved descriptive studies, with level IV scientific evidence and predominantly with a quantitative approach. According to the main leadership model discussed, situational leadership was most prominent. For concept analysis, the influence attribute showed greater
evidence. The difficulties faced by nurses, the absence or inadequate application of a leadership model, the complex context and the team's lack of knowledge are the main antecedents. As consequences, the qualitative improvement in nursing care, the satisfactory performance of those led, patient safety, the lower number of adverse events, and effectiveness at work stood out. The conclusion is that the concept analysis made it possible to clarify the concept “Nursing Leadership in the Surgical Center”, in which they demonstrate the phenomena involved with the theme throughout history and contribute professionals to have a broad view of the factors associated with it. |

Este estudo objetivou analisar o conceito da liderança de enfermagem e sua aplicação no Centro Cirúrgico. Trata-se de uma análise de conceito segundo o referencial teórico metodológico proposto por Walker e Avant, operacionalizada mediante Scoping Review. As etapas da análise de conceito, incluiu a realização de oito passos, são elas: (1) Seleção do conceito; (2) Determinação dos objetivos ou fins de análise; (3) Identificação dos possíveis usos do conceito; (4) Determinação dos atributos que definem; (5) Construção do caso modelo; (6) Identificação de outros casos: caso contrário; (7) Identificação de antecedentes e consequentes do conceito; (8) Definição de referências empíricas. A busca foi realizada em três partes: na primeira foram utilizadas as bases de dados Scopus e PubMed; a segunda ocorreu na Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect e Google Acadêmico e a terceira parte foi executada mediante lista paralela de referências. Foram selecionados nove estudos como amostra final. Verificou-se que o continente de publicação que prevaleceu foi a América do Sul, os idiomas português e inglês apareceram com a mesma frequência, os anos com maior número de publicações foram 2016 a 2022. Quanto aos aspectos metodológicos, envolveram, em sua maioria estudos descritivos, com evidência científica nível IV e com abordagem predominante a quantitativa. De acordo o principal modelo de liderança abordado, a liderança situacional apresentou maior destaque. Para a análise de conceito, o atributo influência apresentou maior evidência. As dificuldades enfrentadas pelo enfermeiro, a ausência ou a aplicação inadequada de um modelo de liderança, o contexto complexo e a falta de conhecimento da equipe são os principais antecedentes. Como consequentes, destacou-se a melhoria qualitativa da assistência de enfermagem, o desempenho satisfatório dos liderados, a segurança do paciente, o menor número de eventos adversos, e a eficácia no trabalho.
