Implantação de um sistema de Prontuário Eletrônico do Paciente (PEP+RN): Relato de Experiência
description The use of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) in hospitals represents a significant advancement compared to paper records, allowing for more efficient information management and promoting the integration of health data for interdisciplinary communication. This study aims to report the successful implementation of the outpatient module of the PEP+RN in four hospitals within the SESAP/RN network, through an experiential report. The proposed method highlights the main functionalities of the system, outlining the planning for its construction, the training process for the teams, the local technological integration of the responsible team in the hospitals, and the creation of a feedback form. The obtained results included the visualization of the care flow, along with specific reports of experiences in each of the four hospitals. When analyzing the feedback, it was observed that 50.6% of users expressed satisfaction with the system, while 55.8% considered it easy to operate. However, it is worth noting that the hospital infrastructure plays a crucial role in the implementation, and the dependence on internet connectivity represents a challenge, as the network may occasionally be inoperative in hospitals. The implementation of the system highlighted the importance of the presence of the technological incorporation team in health on-site at the hospitals which not only increases professionals' adherence to the EPR+RN but also provides valuable requirements gathering for continuous system improvements.

O uso do Prontuário Eletrônico do Paciente (PEP) em hospitais representa um avanço significativo em relação ao prontuário em papel, permitindo um gerenciamento mais eficiente das informações e promovendo a integração de dados em saúde para uma comunicação interdisciplinar. Este trabalho tem como objetivo relatar a implantação do módulo ambulatorial do PEP+RN em quatro hospitais da rede da Secretaria do Estado de Saúde Pública do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (SESAP/RN), por meio de um relato de experiência. A metodologia destaca as principais funcionalidades do sistema, delineando o planejamento para sua construção, o processo de capacitação das equipes, a integração tecnológica local da equipe responsável nos hospitais e a criação de um formulário de feedback. Os resultados obtidos incluíram a visualização do fluxo de atendimento, juntamente com relatos específicos de experiências em cada um dos quatro hospitais. Ao analisar os feedbacks, observou-se que 50,6% dos usuários expressaram satisfação ao utilizar o sistema, enquanto 55,8% o consideraram fácil de operar. No entanto, destaca-se que a infraestrutura hospitalar desempenha um papel crucial na implantação, e a dependência da conectividade à internet representa um desafio, pois ocasionalmente a rede pode estar inoperante nos hospitais.
