Crynodeb:The artist-teacher in this study shares her path, from linear primary education, through youth to University, highlighting the importance of each event and how it shaped her approach to teaching and artistic creation. As an objective, the text narrates relevant aspects of her trajectory that contributed and continue to contribute to her formation. Using the autobiographical method, I reflect on my own experiences and on deepening my understanding during dance training, adding to the text the reflections of the authors STRAZZACAPPA & MORANDI (2013), NOVÓA (1995), and others. For an experience to be considered formative, speaking from the learner's perspective is necessary. Learning to be a teacher requires methodical, systematic work, and knowledge, of others, and ourselves. Through the succession and diversity of experiences, I test and experiment with the validity of identity reconstruction and I'm faced with the nuances and challenges of the journey's trajectory.
