Resumo:Introduction: The Center of Reference in Integrative and Complementary Practices (CERPIC) aims to enhance service resolution by integrating conventional approaches with complementary therapies in diagnosis, assessment, and care. Objective: To report the experience as a physical therapy student during the internship in primary healthcare at CERPIC. Method: Sessions during Supervised Therapeutic Practice IV, with a workload of 120 hours, from May 15 to June 7, where, as part of a group with three other students, we were supervised by Prof. Dr. Marcelo Cardoso de Souza at the Center of Reference in Integrative and Complementary Practices (CERPIC) in Natal-RN. Development and Progress: Throughout the sessions, a remarkable progress was observed in various areas, including strength gain, improved coordination, and increased confidence. Conclusion: The reception and treatment of patients with a humane and holistic view have their notoriety, considering the common healthcare practices today. Witnessing the satisfaction and appreciation of patients with the treatments helps understand how these practices contribute and make a difference when combined with conventional treatments.
