Resumo:Objective: to identify in the literature how nurses' actions occur in combating gestational and congenital syphilis among women deprived of their liberty in Brazil. Methodology: This is an integrative review developed using the Lilacs databases via VHL, PubMed, SciELO via Web of Science,held from the 1st to the 11th of December 2023.Using the descriptors: Health Sciences Descriptors ( DeCS) and in Medical Subject Headings (MeSH), with the Boolean operators AND and OR. The search initially resulted in 176 articles, and after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the final sample of 5 articles. Result and Discussion: From reading the articles, it is observed that nurses play an important role in prenatal care, serological testing and treatment during pregnancy, in addition to being one of the main caregivers, the professional must establish contact with the pregnant woman, clarify and understand the entire process that the pregnant woman will go through during pregnancy. Final considerations: Even when faced with the difficulties of public policies for the applicability of the services offered, it is possible to identify the nurses' actions in combating syphilis and congenital syphilis, through the health of pregnant women within the prison premises.
