Resumo:The text addresses the interconnection between waste management in the construction industry and the generation of carbon credits as a fundamental strategy to promote sustainable practices in the sector. The recycling of construction waste and the consequent generation of carbon credits emerge as fundamental strategies to address the environmental and climate challenges associated with the construction industry. By adopting recycling practices, such as reusing materials like concrete, bricks, and ceramics, it is possible not only to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills but also to promote more efficient resource management and a decrease in demand for virgin raw materials. The importance of adopting effective waste management practices is highlighted, not only to mitigate environmental impacts but also to explore opportunities for reducing carbon emissions. The generation of carbon credits is presented as an economic incentive for carbon emission reduction, driving technological and environmentally responsible construction innovations. The text emphasizes that this approach not only complies with environmental regulations but also contributes to a positive corporate image aligned with socio-environmental values, representing a significant step towards a more equitable and environmentally harmonious construction sector.
