Resumo:Introduction: Parkinson's disease (PD) is a degenerative disease that causes several symptoms and signs, including changes in gait. Objective: Research in the literature for evidence of the rehabilitation of gait in people with Parkinson's, using Transcranial Direct Current Electrical Stimulation (tDCS). Methodology: This is a narrative review, carried out between March and May 2023, in which articles were collected from the PubMed, CAPES Periodical Portal, VHL (MEDLINE) and Google Scholar databases. Results: 13 articles published between 2014 and 2022 were selected using the eligibility criteria. Conclusion: Despite few articles specifically addressing this subject, it was observed that the majority of studies state that tDCS has positive effects on gait rehabilitation in patients with Parkinson's, whether or not it may be associated with some other therapy. However, more studies are needed to further develop this therapeutic approach.
