| Resumo: | This article discusses a proposal for a cultural tourist itinerary for Santa Cruz/RN. The research aims to propose a tourist itinerary with a cultural emphasis for the municipality of Santa Cruz/RN. Comprehending the history and identity of the municipal, listing possible attractions or products to compose the tourist itinerary, and understanding the cultural potential of the destination as a tourist development factor. Firstly, bibliographical research was carried out, regarding the main concepts covered, and subsequently, the theoretical foundation and case study to obtain the objectives proposed in this work. The analysis conducted by this research explores the scenario of cultural tourism development in Santa Cruz. This practice by enabling greater interaction between visitors and the local population presents potential benefits and challenges for those involved. To summarize, it is necessary to carry out more studies that explore and highlight tourist activity in the city of Santa Cruz, seeking a decentralized look at tourism in the town, working together with the religious and cultural segments. |
