Resumo:Theme parks are also spaces for storytelling, in which many of their principles for telling stories originate from cinematographic language. The contemporary theme park model was consolidated by the opening of Disneyland in 1955, in which Walt Disney brought a new storytelling experience from the combination of engineers, architects, and professionals from the film industry. Starting then from the question of what would be these elements of cinematographic language present in the creation of theme parks, the creation of the documentary “Theme Parks: an immersive cinematic experience” was proposed. In this work, some cinematographic elements are described and analyzed. The report written here tells all the phases of making this documentary, covering everything from the idealization, pre-production, production, and post-production of the project. Just as the methodology and theoretical framework provided the basis for the script. The documentary itself is divided into chapters covering the history of amusement parks, the cinematic vision and narrative in the parks, the art direction, color, sets, costumes, and soundtrack inside the parks.
