Resumo:Nursing is a profession that has been intensifying in the context of entrepreneurship, given that market changes and technological advances have provided opportunities for nurses to engage in entrepreneurial endeavors, aiming for autonomy, professional recognition, and financial returns. In this sense, competitive intelligence and technological surveillance prove to be valuable tools in determining the success of these ventures. Thus, this study aims to identify, in the literature, the panorama of entrepreneurship in nursing and how competitive intelligence and technological surveillance are employed in this context. It is an integrative review, conducted in April 2023, utilizing eight databases and employing the following descriptors: Nursing, Business, and Entrepreneurship. Twenty-nine articles comprised the final sample of this study, with the temporal focus spanning from 2018 to 2023, highlighting 2022 with the highest number of publications. The studies have a global origin, with 51.7% developed in Brazil. The predominant methodological approach is qualitative (51.7%). Research contexts include Care (10.3%), Education (58.6%), and Business (20.6%). Entrepreneurship in nursing is categorized into social entrepreneurship, business entrepreneurship, and intrapreneurship. Additionally, competitive intelligence and technological surveillance play a fundamental role in the success of nursing entrepreneurship, enabling the monitoring of trends, ethics, and technological innovations in the healthcare sector. However, this theme is rarely addressed in the training of nurses, reflecting a need for adaptation and the inclusion of an entrepreneurial culture in nursing undergraduate curricula. The application of competitive intelligence and technological surveillance to nursing entrepreneurship allows for the expansion of the profession's technical arsenal, enabling the tackling of challenges in the healthcare sector and contributing to the development of innovative and quality services. Furthermore, they contribute as active teaching methodologies for the development of skills and the training of future entrepreneurial nurses.
