Among the CE, there are Land Transport Accidents (ATT), which are the second External Cause of mortality that kills the most in Brazil, being considered a public health problem. The present study aimed to analyze the behavior of mortality due to ATT in Brazil from 2010 to 2019. This is an ecological, time series study, with data on mortality due to ATT throughout the Brazilian territory that were obtained from the Information Technology Department of the Unified Health System. The causes that are present in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, described in group V01-V89, were included. The trend in the mortality rate due to ATT was carried out using the Joinpoint program. In the period studied, there were 392,929 deaths due to RTA, among which predominated males, white and mixed race, single, with low and medium levels of education and young people aged 20 to 29 years. This study shows a significant reduction in the Mortality Rate from Land Transport Accidents from 2014 onwards (APC: -6.81; CI: -8.5; -5.1). Despite the reduction in mortality rates from land transport accidents, these still remain a complex public health problem, involving several factors and areas of society. 2023-12-01T19:29:42Z 2023-12-01T19:29:42Z 2023-11-01 bachelorThesis FARIA, Maria Luiza Gomes.
