Resumo: | Analyzing library science graduates´ perception is a form of perceiving the current job market. In this sense, this article presents the results of a research whose general objective was to analyze published research that deal with the subject “library science graduates” indexed by the Base de Dados Referenciais de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação – BRAPCI. Thus, the research aimed to identify the number of studies and point out the methodologies used in these results. The methodological procedure used were bibliographical research, a qualitative and quantitative approach as well as research performed in the database. Results included the presence of key-words such as “graduates”, “labor market”, “ex-student”. In total there were 14 articles that included the term “alumni”, 100 with “labor market”, of these 13 studies that deal and 1 article with “ex- student”. The study covered the period from 1972 to 2017, totaling 45 years of studies. It was seen that the methodologies used in the articles are of descriptive, exploratory, bibliographical, quantitative and qualitative survey, using questionnaires for data collection purposes. It is possible to conclude that there are still few studies that deal with the aforementioned subject the BRAPCI Database making it necessary to produce further research in this field considering its importance for the planning of continuous and important academic actions |
