Resumo: | The enactment of the 1988 Constitution brought profound changes to the areas of health and
education, based on the expanded concept of health, which points to the Unified Health System
(SUS) as the attribution of organizing the training of professionals in the area. In 2003, the
creation of the Health Education Work Management Secretariat (SGTES) was a milestone for
the development of strategies and projects related to the training and development of workers,
among which the Experiences and Internships Project stands out. in the Reality of the Unified
Health System – VERSUS/Brazil. In Rio Grande do Norte, the first edition of VERSUS
Potiguar was developed and coordinated by the State Secretariat for Public Health, with the aim
of contributing to the training of future health workers. The experience took place between June
3rd and 11th, 2022, simultaneously in three Health Regions of the state, under the articulation
of the Regional Commissions for Integration of Teaching and Service and Higher Education
Institutions. Given the innovative character of the initiative, this work seeks to contribute to the
institutional evaluation of the project. The study aims to evaluate the contributions of VERSUS
Potiguar to health training in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. This is an exploratory study with
a qualitative approach. Teachers, linked to partner teaching institutions, facilitators and living
students of VERSUS Potiguar participated in the research. For the collection of secondary data,
a documental analysis was carried out using reports and other institutional documents. On the
other hand, qualitative data were collected through an electronic questionnaire. Qualitative data
were subjected to Bardin's content analysis. The results of the study indicated important
contributions to the students' education, especially with regard to interprofessional work,
understanding of the expanded concept of health and approximation with the reality of the
health system. |
