Resumo:Good practices are successful actions recognized by a given sector or area of knowledge, in this case, the intention is to highlight, from a content curation project, the good practices around books, reading, literature and libraries. Thus, we intend to discuss the role of the librarian as an information mediator and content curator, which effectively implies working with informational processes, such as, for example, searching, monitoring, selecting, creating and disseminating information for a specific audience. The research is classified as exploratory and with a quantitative and qualitative approach, in which the content curation process developed in eight phases is presented, as well as the quantitative results from cybermetrics and webometrics are analyzed. We consider essential both the dissemination and the access to positive and differentiated information, which can collaborate for other actions of good practices, being able to serve as inspiration for librarians and strengthening of a more engaged and socially active Librarianship
