In this sense, this study adds to the existing literary studies a discussion that seeks to understand to what extent the discourses of gender oppression and resistance constitute the ideological formation of the protagonist of Lygia Bojunga Nunes’s novel Angélica (1975/2019). Furthermore, based on this dialogue, it aims to discuss the construction of the ideological formation of the characters based on Bakhtin’s theory, focusing on the discourses of gender oppression and resistance introduced in the narrative. The field of zooliterature, conceptualized by Maciel (2007; 2008; 2011; 2016a; 2016b), among other authors, cooperates with the theory of dialogism of the Bakhtin Circle (Bakhtin, Voloshinov and Medvedev) for the analysis of the novel. As for the methodology, this is a bibliographic research, guided by the Circle’s notion that the true literary analysis starts from the text itself in its relationship with culture and “great times”. The final results of this dialogic study point to the recognition of the axiological position of rejection of the patriarchal authoritarian discourse of silencing the female character and her resistance, represented by the animal-character Angélica. Os estudos analíticos realizados a partir da literatura infantojuvenil têm se mostrado uma grande contribuição para a literatura, bem como sido palco de muitas discussões em pesquisas no espaço acadêmico. Nesse sentido, esse estudo acrescenta ao acervo já existente dos estudos literários uma discussão que busca compreender em que medida os discursos de opressão de gênero e de resistência constituem a formação ideológica da protagonista do romance Angélica (1975/2019), de Lygia Bojunga Nunes. Ademais, com base nesse diálogo, pretende discutir como se dá a construção da formação ideológica de personagens sob a perspectiva da teoria de Bakhtin a partir dos discursos de opressão de gênero e resistência introduzidos na narrativa. O campo da zooliteratura, conceituado por Maciel (2007; 2008; 2011; 2016a; 2016b), entre outros autores, coopera com a teoria do dialogismo do Círculo bakhtiniano (Bakhtin, Volóchinov e Medviédev) para a análise do romance. Quanto à metodologia utilizada, trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica norteada pela noção do Círculo de que a verdadeira análise literária parte do próprio texto em sua relação com a cultura e o “grande tempo”.
