With the constant growth of urban centers, the challenges for the development and management of resources in cities are increasing. The smart city concept emerged with the aim of allowing cities to manage their resources more efficiently and sustainably, providing better living conditions for their citizens. A characteristic of smart cities is the use of information and communication technologies to assist in the management of resources and services, however, developing applications for smart cities can become an almost impossible task without a form of intermediary between the developer and the various sources. information systems and cities. SGeoL is a middleware designed to facilitate the development of smart city applications by providing several essential features such as context data management, security, data models, among others. One of the requirements for smart city platforms, such as SGeoL, raised by SILVA et al. (2013), is the use of time series as a resource for city management. This facility provides the user with the ability to identify patterns and trends through time maps with the aid of an interactive interface. Therefore, it has the potential to generate added value information, essential for managers and citizens. In this context, this work aims to make SGeoL capable of representing historical series, through the improvement of the Dashboard - Navegador de Mapas of the SGeoL platform and the creation of the SGeoL Time Series microservice, responsible for managing historical series in a generic way, in addition to, perform an evaluation of the microservice through a performance test. |
