| Resumo: | The present course conclusion work proposed to understand how the portrayal of labour inequality, the devaluation and the recognition of domestic workers in the telenovela Sparking Girls (2012) influenced the formation of the agenda of the time. The methodology had a qualitative character, being used the following procedures: bibliographic research, documentary and content analysis; to identify the different approaches to the formation of agenda, on the history of soap operas in the country, analyzing the plot of the novel, the Proposed Constitutional Amendment (PEC) of the Maids, the articles of the Folha de São Paulo in 2012, and to verify the variations on the problematic of the labour rights of domestic workers, through the Diário do Senado. Finally, it was inferred that possibly the telenovela has influenced the setting agenda, because despite the favourable political conjuncture, only in the year of the exhibition of the soap opera is that an action is properly adopted. |
