Feminismo e Serviço Social: critica ao conservadorismo nas dissertações da UFRN e UERN (2016-2022)
description The lives of women have historically been marked by a system of exploitation and oppressions that coexist in social relations, patriarchy, racism, and class, which particularly form part of Brazil's socio-historical construction and tend to manifest themselves more prominently in cyclical crises of capital as a way of exacerbating inequalities. In recent years, we have witnessed an advancement of conservative ideals that attack the lives and rights gained by women, including feminist movements. Social work is a profession predominantly composed of women who directly address the expressions of social issues. Postgraduate programs in Social Work are one of the main avenues for knowledge production in the field and for deepening research that updates and equips the profession. Therefore, this work is developed based on bibliographic and documentary research on dissertations from the master's programs in Social Work at UFRN and UERN from 2016 to 2022. It is a regional research study performed with on the method of historical-dialectical materialism. To investigate and gather data and information, we defined the following axes: the process of creating the postgraduate programs in Social Work at UFRN and UERN; the profile of dissertations from 2016 to 2022, considering the main authors; the conception of conservatism; the main forms of violations of women's rights, and the main strategies of the feminist field. The research results provide an understanding of the profession's alignment with social movements and, in this case, with feminism. This alignment has enabled significant contributions to critical theoretical advancement and strategies of resistance and confrontation against conservatism within the profession, promoting a theoretical-dialectical movement that aims to distance the profession from conservative and postmodern practices. The analyzed dissertations also contribute to the critique of capitalist, patriarchal, and racist, societies, highlighting the historical need for the construction of a society that surpasses capitalist production and reproduction and that is emancipatory for the working class I its diversity, making visible among other segments, women.

A vida das mulheres historicamente é marcada por sistema de exploração e opressões que coexistem nas relações sociais, o patriarcado, racismo e classe, que particularmente, fazem parte da construção sócio-histórica do Brasil e tendem a se expressar de forma mais latente nas crises cíclicas do capital, como forma de aguçamento das desigualdades. Nos últimos anos vivenciamos um avanço de ideais conservadores que atacam a vida e os direitos conquistados pelas mulheres, lê-se aqui também os movimentos feministas. O serviço social é uma profissão composta majoritariamente por mulheres que atua diretamente nas expressões da questão social. Os cursos de Pós-graduação em Serviço Social é uma das principais formas de produção do conhecimento na área e de aprofundamento da pesquisa que atualiza e instrumentaliza a profissão. Em razão disso este trabalho é desenvolvido a partir de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental nas dissertações dos cursos de mestrado em Serviço Social da UFRN e UERN no período de 2016 a 2022. Trata-se, portanto, de uma pesquisa com recorte regional baseado método do materialismo histórico-dialético. Para a investigação e apreensão dos dados e informações, definimos os seguintes eixos: o processo de criação dos programas de PPGSS da UFRN e UERN; o perfil das dissertações dos anos de 2016 a 2022, considerando os principais autores a concepção de conservadorismo; principais formas de violações dos direitos das mulheres e principais estratégias do campo feminista. Os resultados da pesquisa possibilitam o entendimento da aproximação da profissão com os movimentos sociais e aqui com o feminismo. Tal aproximação tem possibilitado enorme contribuição para o avanço teórico crítico e de estratégias de resistência e de enfrentamento ao conservadorismo na profissão, promovendo um movimento teórico - dialético que visa distanciar a profissão de práticas conservadoras e pós-modernas.
