Resumo:I believe that the 5th year of Elementary School is a time of changes that impact children into adulthood, given the physical and psychological developments of preadolescence, where it is assumed that they should be confronted with situations that favor the construction of autonomy and of freedom. This is an important time, as they are exposed to fears that can affect their self-esteem, awaken feelings of rejection, insecurities and lack of perspective for the future. For these reasons, this writing takes on the character of rediscovery and rescue of memories about childhood and creativity, explaining how such factors observed in this final period of Elementary School I, become the foundation of our development as individuals inserted in a society. Thus, this work aims to reflect on the experiences and experiences as a pedagogue in training through an ethnographic study carried out in the supervised internship in a 5th grade class of a public school in Natal/RN. From the use of different methodological strategies, this writing has the theoretical contributions of Cardoso (1986), Sagan (1995), Lima et al. (1996), Pimenta and Lima (2004), Pondian (2005), Cavalcante (2005), Nogueira (2011), Geertz (2009), Pimentel (2014), Falleiros (2018) and Souza (2021) among others. During the investigative course, students were encouraged to express and share their expectations about their future life through poetic and everyday expressions, which helped in the process of reflection on the memories lived by the author. The experiences in the aforementioned experience report and the bibliographical analyzes contributed to the conclusion that Elementary School I, with a specific focus on the 5th year, it is the period of children's lives that provides opportunities for the construction of knowledge essential to the constitution of identity in a close relationship with the pedagogue, pointing out that, it is possible that the link between adults and children, 一 of being a child and becoming an adult 一, get lost in this phase, when we no longer rely on Pedagogy as an edifying link, where teachers say goodbye to students and students leave pedagogy behind, bringing changes and loss of bond for both individuals in various stages of growth while inserted in a society in constant movement.
