| Resumo: | Discusses about Bibliotherapy, its history and the current state of research on the theme. Its general objective it’s to characterize the scientific production on Bibliotherapy. It builds descriptive bibliographic research with quantitative and qualitative characteristics, through a search in the Dimensions database, using bibliometric indicators of scientific production to describe the temporal evolution of cientific production in Bibliotherapy, identify the authors and journals that most produce about the theme and categorize the main areas of research and subjects dealt with in the works found. From the data showed by the search, a growing academic interest in the production of works on the subject was evaluated, points out the sixteen most productive authors and the institutions in which they work, the sixteen most productive journals, categorizes the themes most associated with bibliotherapy by the most productive authors and builds a categorized bibliography with them. It concludes that Bibliotherapy is a relevant and constantly evolving area. |
