Resumo:The present monograph outlines the historical trajectory of people with disabilities and addresses the anti-ableism struggle that is in the process of consolidation and knowledge for society, which is still unaware of the category Ableism and its meaning. It aims to understand how the liberal neoconservatism of the current capitalist system has exerted influence on ableism against people with disabilities and on the anti-ableism struggle in Brazil. In addition, the work is guided by the method used by Marx, Dialectical and Historical Materialism, in order to understand the social reality in a critical way and in order to subsidize the unveiling of the object studied through its main methodological categories and also by the Social Model of disability, which understands that society is still not very inclusive of body diversity. The study was based on bibliographical research, documentary research and also via media sources such as blogs, publications on social media about the cybernetic movements that the PwD public has used recently as a way of presenting their struggles and claims. As a result, in addition to the historical structuring, analysis of the various perceptions about disability, the relation of ableism as a tool of oppression of capitalism and the difficult insertion of this portion in the labor market, it was also noted that people with disabilities have found ways to express themselves, mainly via social media, with a new configuration of social movements, mainly with the presence of digital influencers, that have reached a large audience and presented ableism to the society and how it is still quite camouflaged in society, in addition, it was understood that for an anti-ableism society, this struggle has to be encompassed by the others, in order to enable the realization of an egalitarian, fair society without oppression of bodies with disabilities, since capitalism and ableism are inherent to each other.
