| Resumo: | The objective of the research was to evaluate how actions of socioenvironmental responsibility are practiced by the Tribunal Regional Eleitoral do Rio Grande do Norte (TRE/RN). Within the context of public institutions, the socioenvironmental responsibility plays an even more relevant role, since these entities have the responsibility to ensure the public interest and sustainable development of society as a whole. A qualitative study was conducted, using document analysis as well as interviews with managers to complement the study. Based on the analysis of the documentary data and the interviews conducted, it was concluded that the Tribunal Regional Eleitoral do Rio Grande do Norte has a genuine concern for socioenvironmental responsibility. The court managers demonstrate a solid understanding of the studied topic. Through the strategic planning of TRE/RN, a sustainable logistics plan is developed to propose, execute, and implement both continuous and specific actions of socioenvironmental responsibility, thereby promoting and disseminating sustainable practices in the activities of the studied court. Besides, environmental criteria are established for contracting in bidding processes. It is evident that TRE/RN carries out planned actions of of socioenvironmental responsibility, addressing a wide range of topics, with various ongoing actions within the institution, following pre-established criteria in contracting and complying with the current environmental laws and regulations in the country. |
